The Indian automaker has announced the launch of five new electric Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) for domestic and international markets.

The company plans to launch the first of five e-SUVs in the Indian market by the end of 2024.

The five electric SUV models will be introduced under two brands, XUV and the all-new electric-only brand BE, according to the automaker.

In fiscal year 22, the automaker sold approximately 2.25 lakh SUVs in the domestic market.

Anish Shah, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Group, stated that the new electric SUVs represent a strategic direction in line with the company’s core philosophy of providing customers with future-ready technology.
