On Monday, several cybersecurity analysts tweeted about the alleged discovery of an insecure server breach that allowed access to TikTok’s storage, which they believe contained personal user data.
Only a few days ago, Microsoft Corp announced the discovery of a “high-severity vulnerability” in TikTok’s Android app, “which would have allowed attackers to compromise users’ accounts with a single click.”
TikTok issued a statement saying that claims of a breach were false, and Troy Hunt discovered inconclusive evidence of any breach.
