WhatsApp to develop a ‘kept messages’ feature

WhatsApp is apparently working on a “kept messages” feature that will allow anyone to save a brief disappearing chat and keep it as is (for everyone), even if the message has expired.

Disappearing chats are those that users can send to other users with a time limit before they are automatically removed from all connected devices.

A saved message will supposedly have its own bookmark icon to differentiate it from other chats.
