Apple starts employing retail shop employees in India

Apple has started employing retail shop employees in India and aims to fill other positions as the technology company prepares to open outlets there.

The company’s website now has over a hundred employment openings in India.

While the company began direct sales online in 2020, ambitions for physical stores have yet to materialise.

Apple’s website currently displays more than a hundred results for job openings in India. The retail jobs, which were posted on Saturday, were for various places around the country, including Mumbai and New Delhi.
