Sferra Fine Linens announces data breach

Sferra Fine Linens has begun informing customers about a cybersecurity incident involving their personal information.

The incident was discovered on April 24, but the threat actor had access to the company’s servers for two weeks prior.

Passport information, driver’s licence data, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical and/or health insurance data, electronic/digital signatures, and account credentials were all compromised.

It’s unclear whether this was a ransomware gang attack.
