Because of the shift in routine, many people get sluggish while on vacation. If they are otherwise physically active, a few days of inactivity can be detrimental to their health. When it comes to exercising, consistency and discipline are crucial.

So, when you’re not in your normal routine, how can you squeeze in a few exercises? Yasmin Karachiwala, a celebrity fitness trainer, has the answer. She shared a video on Instagram of some simple workouts that can be done while travelling; have a look.

She showed a reverse lunge and kick, which includes bending the knee of one leg backwards and then kicking the air with the other leg.

She next demonstrated planks, which involve twisting your body sideways while balancing your weight on your hands and toes.

She then demonstrated how to do criss-cross jacks, which engage both your legs and arms while also providing an excellent aerobic workout. Crab kicks, in which you drive your pelvis upwards with one leg while balancing on the other leg and arms, were also performed by Karachiwala.

She explained in the caption that beginners should do it for 30 seconds and then rest for 30 seconds; intermediates should do it for 40 seconds and then rest for 20 seconds; and advanced should do it for 50 seconds and then rest for 10 seconds.

“Whether you’re a beginner, moderate, or advanced, this workout can be done anywhere, at any time.” The highlight? These activities don’t require any special equipment,” she added.
