Breach Forums user sells access to information about 2 million HR.com users

In what appears to be a security breach, a Breach Forums user is selling access to information about +2M http://HR.com users allegedly scraped from the site’s admin panel.

HR.com is a social networking site for human resource professionals.

The majority of the content on HR.com is contributed by users.

It’s “similar to Facebook, with a business community,” according to the founder, and it allows HR professionals to share best practises and research techniques.

HR.com Limited is a privately held corporation headquartered in Jacksons Point, Canada.

Debbie McGrath founded HR.com in 1999 after previously founding CEO Group Inc., which was later sold to the Washington Post.

It began as an online magazine for HR professionals but was later transformed into a social network.
