SpiceJet’s Q400 plane makes an emergency landing in Mumbai after its windshield cracks mid-flight

SpiceJet’s Q400 plane made an emergency landing at Mumbai’s airport after its windshield cracked.

This is at least the seventh technical malfunction on a SpiceJet flight in the last 17 days.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is looking into the two incidents that occurred on Tuesday, as well as the previous five incidents.

SpiceJet’s Kandla-Mumbai flight was at 23,000 feet when the outer pane of the windshield cracked.

According to officials, the pilots then performed a priority landing at the Mumbai airport.
