Microsoft Defender for Android and iOS now includes network protection

Microsoft has released a public preview of a new Microsoft Protector for Endpoint (MDE) feature to assist businesses identify flaws affecting Android and iPhone devices in their business networks.

The Microsoft Defender app will be available to paying Microsoft 365 cloud office software subscribers.

It’s aimed at users who want to manage their entire family’s online security from a single platform.

In addition to running routine malware scans, it can provide security tips and real-time recommendations.

The app’s anti-malware protection is limited to Android and iOS, while iOS and iPadOS will only receive “web protection.”

However, if you already have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you will receive a free perk.
