The Manhattan Supreme Court has temporarily halted price hikes for Uber and Lyft drivers.

This was intended to take effect on December 19th, however it has been delayed until January 31st. Meanwhile, wage hikes for taxi drivers will continue as scheduled. According to the drivers, Uber and Lyft are promoting a “deceptive” November ballot campaign.

This judgement is viewed as a partial triumph for Uber, as the business described the increase as enormous, unprecedented, and unjustified.
