Moto X40 is all set to launch in China on 15th December, 2022.

The Moto X40 will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and enable up to 120W fast charging. The Moto X40 is expected to be available in storage combinations of 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.

It is scheduled to be released as the replacement of the Moto Edge X30, which debuted in December 2021. The device is teased to come in a variety of colours, featuring a curved display and a centrally aligned hole-punch design.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power it. The launch event will be aired live via the Lenovo-owned brand’s official Weibo handle and its China website. Motorola’s Moto X40 will be unveiled today in China via a virtual event on its Weibo channel and website.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC based on the 4nm process technology will power the device. The smartphone will have an IP68-rated build for dust and water resistance.
