Honor X40 series to return on September 15

The Honor X40 series will return on September 15, according to a post on Weibo, China’s equivalent of Facebook.

The company has been attempting to profit from Huawei’s fall from grace, but only time will tell if it will be successful.

The Honor X40 series will support 5G, which has recently become a standard for mid- and high-end smartphones.

Honor’s first X series phone was unveiled in style nine years ago.

The Chinese handset manufacturer has not revealed how many devices will be unveiled next week, nor have they revealed their names.

We can safely predict that we will see these outside of the Mainland at some point this year.

The Honor X40i was only released two months ago, but rumours suggest that at least two new devices will be released later this month.
