The network would aid in the diagnosis and provision of emergency treatments in local health centres.

It is the result of the state’s collaboration with the World Economic Forum’s MFTS initiative.

The ‘Medicine from the Sky’ (MFTS) project was launched in Seppa, a town in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Kameng District.

Redwing Labs, a startup, would provide made-in-India hybrid Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) drones and manage the project from start to finish.

Redwings Labs will conduct a pilot project funded by USAID to provide a clear picture of operational issues, financial feasibility, and regulatory issues.
