Google rumoured to be working on a small-screen Pixel phones

According to a new rumour, Google is working on a small-screen pixel machine codenamed “neila.”

The front of the device would have a centred hole-punch design, and the back would be “family-style.”

This rumour makes no mention of a release date, only that the device will be known as “Neila.”

Google’s Pixel lineup has traditionally prioritised small-screen phones.

Previous Pixel phones were the only ones with screens smaller than six inches.

There are numerous reasons to treat this rumour with scepticism.

The mentioned codename does not fit into Google’s usual codename patterns.
