Meizu, a Chinese smartphone company, was once a key market participant, offering alternative and more appealing options than its competitors.

However, with the development of Chinese competitors such as Xiaomi, Meizu has failed to make the same worldwide impact. According to a report, Wuhan Xingji Meizu Technology Co., Ltd., a holding company of Geely, has become the sole shareholder, allowing the brand to strive to return to the scene.
