Following the Nupur Sharma incident, two hacker groups, ‘Dragon Force Malaysia’ and ‘Hacktivist Indonesia,’ launched a cyber war against India.

They also called on Muslim hackers from around the world to do the same.

This follows recent remarks about Prophet Muhammad made by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

The OpsPatuk campaign is looking for assistance from “Muslim Hackers from All Over The World, Human Rights Organizations, and Activists.”

The primary goal of the attack was to retaliate against the Indian government for Nupur Sharma’s controversial comments about Prophet Muhammad.

The group shared Indian users’ social media credentials, particularly Facebook access and leading bank username and password combinations, to enable their allies to launch attacks.

This cyber call to arms was created by DragonForce Malaysia, a pro-Palestinian hacktivist group based in Malaysia.
