Distributed Denial of Secrets is a non-profit site for news leaks that was founded in 2018.

It is best known for the June 2020 publication of BlueLeaks, a large collection of internal police documents.

The group has also published data on Russian oligarchs, fascist groups, shell companies, tax havens, and Cayman Islands banking, as well as data scraped from Parler in January 2021 and the Gab leak in February 2021.

The group is also known for publishing emails from military officials, City Hall in Chicago, and the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. The site hosts dozens of terabytes of data from over 200 organisations as of April 2022.

They were regarded as one of the best public repositories of all Russian files leaked since the invasion began during the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Emma Best and another member of The Architect founded the website Distributed Denial of Secrets.

When it went public in December 2018, the site had more than 1 terabyte of data from many of the most high-profile leaks.

Several media outlets have described DDoSecrets as a successor to Wikileaks and a “leaktivist collective.”
