Dakshina Kannada DC’s phone hacked

Dr. Rajendra KV, the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada, has had his phone hacked, and imposters are using his credentials to demand money from the public.

The DC has requested that the public refrain from sending money to the fraudsters who are abusing his authority.

Unidentified individuals are impersonating the DC by sending WhatsApp messages from the phone number 8590710748.

They used Dr. Rajendra KV’s photograph and name on their profile.

The DC urged the public not to send money to this number or any other number requesting money in his name.

The DC advised anyone who receives messages requesting money in his name to block the number and report it to the administration.
