Bullitt to release a satellite-connected headset

Bullitt intends to release a satellite-connected headset that will allow users to communicate via text messages without the need for an existing telecom network signal.

The photos and price of the device have yet to be revealed by the company.

In India, Elon Musk’s SpaceX and Bharti Mittal’s OneWeb programme are already working to provide satellite communication services.

The rules for using satellite phones in India have been established by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

Satellite service has not gained traction due to its high cost and complex regulatory approval.

The Apple iPhone 14 is rumoured to have satellite connectivity features that would allow it to make calls even when there is no mobile signal.
