AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel demands Nupur Sharma to be hanged for her remark on Prophet Muhammad

Amid protests by Muslim groups and harsh reactions from countries such as Kuwait, Qatar, and Iran, AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel demanded that Nupur Sharma be hanged.

“Islam is a religion of peace, people are angry…Nupur Sharma should be hanged. If she’s allowed to let-go easily, then such things won’t stop. Law should be brought to take action against those who make such remarks against any religion”, AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel.

The controversial remarks made by BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma about Prophet Mohammad have sparked worldwide outrage.

Nupur Sharma has been suspended by the BJP.

The BJP stated that it “respects all religions” and is “vehemently opposed to any ideology that insults or demeans any sect or religion” while suspending Sharma. Gulf countries were outraged by the BJP leader’s remark. India has stated that it has taken harsh measures against those who have made controversial remarks about minorities.
