Google blocks the largest computing society’s website
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is the largest scientific and educational computing organisation in the world.
As of 2019, the ACM has nearly 100,000 students and professionals involved in computing as members.
The problem, first reported by researcher Maximilian Golla, has been successfully reproduced.
Links to ACM domains are also flagged as malicious in Google Search results.
Visitors must instead manually copy-paste the desired link into their browser’s address bar:
An interstitial blocks Google search results to the ACM site.
