Yukai Engineering introduces a breathing robot pillow

Japanese robotics firm Yukai Engineering is scheduled to demonstrate its bizarre but cute tech expertise at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 with its new breathing robotic cushion “Fufuly”.

The adorable robotic pillow was awarded the CES 2023 Innovation Award and will be unveiled for the first time in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8, 2023.

Yukai Engineering is the Japanese firm that created the Amagami Ham Ham, a robot toy that bites on your fingers to help you relax. The startup will also introduce Lightony, a humanoid bedside lamp that urges users to go asleep faster.

The technology uses the entrainment phenomenon of breathing – it expands and contracts in the same way as a living creature does.
