Bigg Boss season 16 has gotten a lot of attention for its daily disputes and confrontations. Vikas Manaktala recently apologised to Archana Gautam for his ‘neech jati ke log’ remark after Bigg Boss and Salman Khan chastised them.
Both were summoned to the confession room and informed that neither the producers nor the reality programme condone any kind of discriminating attitude or remark. The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has filed a complaint against Vikas Manaktala for allegedly making a casteist remark against Archana.

The Maharashtra government, state police, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, Endemol India Private Ltd, Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, and Colors TV have all been served with a notice. The panel stated that it has taken suo moto note of material obtained through social media.
The commission said suo-motu cognizance has been taken on information received through the social media. They even said that Archana had contested the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections from Congress side.
