Taking a flight on the Fokker 100 in 2022

The Fokker 100 is a regional jet manufactured in the Netherlands by Fokker.

The Fokker 100 is based on the Fokker F28 and has a fuselage that has been stretched by 18.8ft (5.7m) to seat up to 109 passengers, up from 85 previously.

It has an updated glass cockpit and a wider wing and tail for increased maximum weights, and it is powered by two newer Rolls-Royce Tay turbofans.

The plane landed without its front landing gear and sat at the airport for years.

The plane that used to fly for Avianca Brasil was donated to The Plane Experience in September 2020.

Meal service began shortly after takeoff, and the crew distributed flight menus.

First-class menus were dubbed The President’s Special, a nod to PanAm.

Once the plane reached 10,000 feet, WiFi was activated, and customers could sign up for free.

Varig, one of Brazil’s largest and most well-known airlines, provided glasses in which drinks were served.

The plane flew for Avianca Brasil, and all of the plane’s equipment came from other planes that were in service at the time.

There are two toilets in the back of the aircraft that function similarly to toilets on a live aircraft.
