Rockstar Games speculated to cancel GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption remasters

Rockstar Games is thought to have cancelled remasters of GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption in order to focus on GTA 6.

According to the leaker, Rockstar Games’ decision is a “absolute crime.”

Rockstar never confirmed that a next-generation update for the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X was in the works.

The studio may be under pressure to ensure that the sixth mainline instalment sells as well as its predecessor did.

Both projects would have kept audiences entertained until the release of GTA 6.

Due to the success of GTA 6, as well as the poor reception of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, Rockstar abandoned plans to remaster GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption.
