Poco X5 series to launch in India soon

According to a tweet by Poco’s India Head Himanshu Tandon, the X5 series could be released in India soon.

The worldwide and Indian varieties of the Poco X5 have apparently received 3C, IMDA, and FCC approvals. The BIS certification website also shows an Indian variant with the model number 2211317PI.

According to the listing, the smartphone will have a 4900mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and will operate on Android 13-based MIUI 14.

Himanshu Tandon, Poco India Head, reacted to a tweet by tipster Yogesh Brar listing smartphones that could be released this month, as well as in January and February. Tandon’s statement fueled suspicion that Poco may release more than one smartphone in the Poco X5 series.
