Oppo announces Android 13 based update

The latest OS upgrade is currently being rolled out to as many as 28 phones. This comprises four Reno series generations: Reno 8, Reno 7, Reno 6, and even Reno 5.

ColorOS 13 upgrades based on Android 13 will be released in stages. Beginning January 11, the business will accept applications for beta testers for these phones.

Oppo just revealed that it will provide four years of ColorOS updates for certain phones set to launch in 2023.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer would also provide five years of security updates for certain devices. The business has not released the names of the smartphone models that will receive future OS updates, but only flagship phones are expected to receive them.
