NASA and Boeing collaborate to generate next generation airlines

NASA and Boeing have formed a new alliance to design and produce next-generation airliners

The Sustainable Flight Demonstrator project will concentrate on the development of eco-friendly single-aisle airliners that are projected to be greener and more fuel-efficient than current versions.

The project is estimated to generate more than $725 million in revenue and will validate emission-reducing technologies. The new TTBW saves fuel by having extra-long, thin wings that are stabilised by diagonal struts.

Once its technology have been proven safe and efficient, they will be implemented into other single-aisle passenger jets around the 2030s.

Of course, this will depend on if NASA and Boeing encounter serious problems throughout their development stages.
