Mike Flanagan, the creator of “Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” created “Midnight Mass.”

Mike Flanagan has already agreed to a multi-year overall television contract with Netflix.

He is currently in the process of adapting Edgar Allan Poe’s short story The Fall of the House of Usher.

He will be working on two projects in the near future: The Midnight Club and Something is Killing the Children.

Last month, it was announced that he would direct and produce the second season of Midnight Mass.

There’s a chance we’ll see them again, but in a different role.

The residents of Crockett Island would be followed in a second season of “Midnight Mass.”

The only survivors are the mayor’s daughter Leeza Scarborough (Annarah Cymone) and an altar boy named Warren Flynn (Igby Rigney). A second season could feature them as the main characters as they deal with the events on the island.

Alternatively, a second season could feature an entirely new cast, perhaps with tourists or other newcomers.

Flanagan doesn’t seem likely to change the show’s setup just to produce more content.
