The trailer for Netflix documentary series “Eat the Rich: The GameStop Saga,” which will premiere on the streaming service on September 28th has been released.
Dan Cogan and Liz Garbus, Emmy and Academy Award-winning filmmakers, are behind the series, which follows a group of misfits who banded together online to save GameStop.
The ensuing market frenzy pitted legions of inexperienced traders against hedge fund behemoths, and the film aims to provide a humorous look at the unlikely cast of characters who brought about a seismic shift in the global economy.
