Gunjan Patidar, co-founder of Zomato, leaves the company

Following the departures of other executives, India’s Zomato co-founder leaves the company.

Gunjan Patidar is the company’s fourth co-founder to leave. The resignation comes after the company’s stock has lost nearly 57% of its value in the last year.

According to reports, India’s jobless rate is at a 45-year high. On December 29th, Amazon announced the discontinuation of its food delivery services in India.

The corporation lay off 3% of its personnel, affecting 3,800 people and business segments such as IT, product, and marketing departments.
