Dropbox acquires cloud based platform FormSwift
Dropbox has announced the acquisition of FormSwift, a cloud-based platform that allows businesses to create, modify, approve, share, and print business forms and documents.
The corporation stated that it would pay $95 million in cash for the San Francisco-based startup. The buyout is a step toward Dropbox’s eventual goal of building an end-to-end “agreement workflow capability”.
Dropbox’s document workflows product suite will now include FormSwift. FormSwift, according to the firm, has a library of frequently used forms and agreement templates, as well as a client base equivalent to their own.
It works alongside existing document storing, signing, and sharing tools including Dropbox Sign, Dropbox Forms, and DocSend.
