Canoo accuses former employees of stealing sensitive information

Canoo, an electric vehicle startup, has accused former executives and workers of intentionally joining the company to steal sensitive information and trade secrets.

Canoo also stated that their “skateboard,” a flat platform beneath an EV that houses vital components such as the battery and other pieces, was stolen.

This is said to have been used to establish the business model and form relationships. At least 33 Canoo employees are accused of joining Harbinger and taking their skills and training. This accounts for around 66% of the new company’s overall staff.

The claims were refuted because Canoo never did anything that would cause problems for the company.
