Binance plans to increase employment by 15-30% by 2023

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao announced on Wednesday, January 11, that the crypto firm would be hiring more people this year. In 2022, the largest cryptocurrency exchange will have approximately 8,000 staff.

It may seem contradictory given that other cryptocurrency companies have been laying off big numbers of personnel owing to the prolonged bad market.

Binance was a key player in the demise of FTX. When FTX’s non-US operations fell into liquidity issues in November 2022, Binance offered to buy them out, only to withdraw.

And when Zhao stated that his company would sell its FTT tokens, it hastened the digital currency’s depreciation. What transpired has obviously caused damage, but he believes the business will recover.
