Zomato apologises for Mahakal advertisement featuring Hrithik Roshan

Zomato has apologised for its controversial ‘Mahakal thali’ advertisement featuring Hrithik Roshan.

The food delivery platform apologised for hurting people’s feelings.

Zomato’s statement comes after priests and devotees of Ujjain’s Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple demanded that the advertisement be removed immediately.

“We offer our sincerest apologies, for the intent here was never to hurt anyone’s beliefs,” the company said in a Twitter post.
