‘I have pledged my complete cooperation to the Special Committee’s investigation, and I will do everything possible to support the investigation,’ he said. I have also pledged to accept the investigation’s findings and outcome, whatever they may be.’

The board of directors stated in a press release that McMahon has “voluntarily stepped back from his responsibilities as CEO and Chairman of the Board until the conclusion of the investigation.”

During this time, he will’retain his role and responsibilities related to WWE’s creative content,’ while his daughter Stephanie has been named interim CEO and interim Chairwoman.
