Twitter dissolute it’s Trust and Safety Council

Twitter Inc announced the dissolution of its Trust and Safety Council on Monday. Three Council members quit last week, expressing concerns over Twitter users’ safety.

Twitter’s communication arrived less than an hour before participants were scheduled to meet with company management via Zoom.

Since Elon Musk took over, about half of the social networking site’s personnel-approximately 3,700 individuals have been laid off.

In 2016, the Trust and Safety Council was founded to advise the platform on site decisions. Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters. The group’s Twitter account has been deactivated.
