Bhanuka Rajapaksa, a left-handed batter, returns to the 50-overs setup.

Earlier, Sri Lanka named a provisional squad of 26 players for both ODIs and T20Is.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa, a hard-hitting batsman, returned to the Sri Lanka one-day squad on Friday for the five-match home series against Australia, which begins next week. The 30-year-old announced his surprise retirement in January, only to retract it a week later, and was passed over for Sri Lanka’s subsequent tour of India due to fitness concerns.
