SpiceJet will begin offering internet services on its Boeing 737 Max planes, which is great news for passengers

SpiceJet's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Ajay Singh told PTI that the airline intends to launch broadband internet service on its planes soon.

Ajay Singh, SpiceJet’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), said the airline plans to add more Boeing 737 Max aircraft in the coming months and intends to launch broadband internet service onboard soon. According to the airline’s website, it has a fleet of 91 planes, 13 of which are Max planes and 46 of which are earlier variants of Boeing 737 planes.

Singh stated in an email to employees on the airline’s 17th anniversary that the carrier continues to fly with the highest loads month after month and expects to soar even higher in the months ahead.

“The flagship of our fleet, the Boeing 737 Max, has successfully returned to service and has received fantastic feedback from passengers. We will be inducting many more Max aircraft into our fleet in the coming months, with the goal of replacing all of our older aircraft with the Max “he stated

SpiceXpress, the airline’s profitable cargo division, will acquire a large number of freighter aircraft, bolstering and reinforcing its industry-leading position, he said.
