Sona Mohapatra blasts Salman Khan for ‘whitewashing’ Sajid Khan during the Bigg Boss 16 premiere.

The filmmaker was embroiled in MeToo allegations, in which several women accused him of sexual harassment.

Sajid stated on the show that he wanted to enter the house and learn more about himself.

DCOW chief Swati Maliwal filed a complaint after receiving rape threats in her Instagram DMs after calling for Sajid Khan’s ouster; Sona also commented on it.

In a subsequent tweet, she stated that normalising toxic masculinity and such #HERO’s in #POPCulture will encourage more dangerous behaviour.
She had previously chastised Farhan Akhtar and Javed Akhtar for their ‘virtuous’ behaviour.

She also stated that DCOW chief Shwati Maliwal’s rape threat should come as no surprise to anyone.
