Reliance Jio launches Platfom in partnership with Rolling Stone India and Creativeland Asia


Reliance Jio launched Platfom, a short video platform, on Thursday.

The app was created in partnership with Rolling Stone India and Creativeland Asia. It is aimed at local content creators such as singers, musicians, actors, comedians, dancers, fashion designers, and all other creators and influencers. The service will be open to creators from a variety of genres.



The Platfom app claims to use an organic approach rather than “paid” algorithms. Fans and brands will be able to interact and collaborate with artists through their profiles. Jio launched five new international roaming (IR) packs specifically for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which began on November 20.

The service will invite 100 members to join Platfom and will highlight their profiles with a golden check mark. They will then invite new artist members to join through a referral programme. Along with premium verification and in-app bookings, creators will have the opportunity to be featured in Rolling Stone India digital editorials.
