For the first time in six years, Irina-Camelia Begu has advanced to the fourth round of a Grand Slam competition, winning one match at Roland Garros.

After being fined $10,000 for hurling her racket into the stands and having it brush a child.

Begu is 31 years old and entering her 41st major tournament. Her previous best finishes were fourth-round appearances at the Australian Open in 2015 and the French Open in 2016.
