Poco F4 5G to be launched on June 23

Poco has officially announced the Poco F4 5G’s release date. The smartphone will be unveiled on June 23 at 5:30 p.m. IST.

The phone will have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

However, we can anticipate more storage options for the phone.

The smartphone will support 5G, as the name suggests.

The device will also be available in two colours, though we don’t see the iconic Poco Yellow. The display is said to have a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, Truecolor display, HDR10+, and DCI-P3 colour gamut. We can expect the device to have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

A 3,112mm sq vapour chamber and seven-layered graphite sheets will be used in the Liquidcool 2.0 cooling system. During intense gaming sessions, it may boost or at least maintain the smartphone’s high performance.

The Poco F4 5G’s rear camera module will include a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. A flat-edge design inspired by the iPhone 12 series is also visible.

According to an old leak, the smartphone will come with a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, 67W fast charging support, and Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box. Pricing for the Poco F4 5G is unknown, though Poco may price the device aggressively to compete with rivals such as OnePlus, Samsung, and iQoo.
