PM Modi meets Biden at the G20 summit in Indonesia

On the sidelines of the G-20 Leaders’ Summit in Bali on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with US President Joe Biden to discuss the ongoing strengthening of the India-US strategic partnership.
Both leaders are in Indonesia for the G20 Summit, which brings together world leaders from 20 developed and developing countries.
The forum was founded in 1999 in response to the Asian financial crisis and serves as a major annual gathering of world leaders. Prime Minister Modi and US President Biden discussed the ongoing strengthening of India-US strategic partnership.
PM Modi thanked US President Biden for his unwavering support for the India-US partnership. He expressed confidence that the two countries would continue to work closely together during India’s G-20 presidency.
According to a press release, “the two leaders discussed current global and regional developments.”
