PM Modi arrives in Mumbai, attends Raj Bhavan event with CM Uddhav Thackeray

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted at the INS Shikra heliport in Mumbai by Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, his deputy Ajit Pawar, and protocol minister Aaditya Thackeray.

The Sena supremo had skipped an event in Mumbai on April 25 where the Prime Minister was given the first Lata Mangeshkar award.

Modi is set to attend high-profile events in Mumbai. Prior to this, the Prime Minister dedicated the Jagatguru Shrisant Tukaram Maharaj Temple in Dehu, Pune, while lauding the country’s cultural heritage and referring to it as the land of saints.

Modi will soon attend the Dwishatabdi Mahotsav of Mumbai Samachar, which will be held at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. He will also dedicate the Jal Bhushan Building and the Revolutionaries Gallery at the Raj Bhawan.
