NASA postpones the second moon rocket launch attempt citing fuel leakage as the reason.

The main reason for the launch delay, according to NASA, is a fuel leak in the rocket.

The Artemis Space Program planned to launch a crewless 322-foot space launch system rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 8:33 a.m. (1233 GMT), 50 years after astronauts first set foot on the moon on the Apollo 17 mission.

The launch was delayed due to last-minute temperature issues in one of the rocket’s four RS-25 engines.

NASA had postponed Chandrarayaan’s final test flight before its Artemis mission on Monday.

The Artemis 1 flight was designed to test the SLS and the Orion Capsule, which would be installed on top of the rocket.

Lightning caused a delay in the night operation to fill the rocket with more than three million litres of ultra-cold liquid hydrogen and oxygen.

Another issue arose around 3 a.m., and this work had to be halted due to the possibility of leakage while filling hydrogen.
