Mumbai Police files FIR against actor Ranveer Singh for posting obscene pictures on social media
The Mumbai Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh in connection with his nude social media posts.
A Mumbai-based non-governmental organisation (NGO) filed a complaint against the actor with the Chembur police.
The NGO official claimed that the actor’s photographs have hurt women’s feelings in general and insulted their modesty.
The FIR stated that India has a “good culture,” but such images hurt everyone’s feelings.
The actor’s nude photos, which were for a magazine shoot and were posted on his social media accounts such as Instagram, went viral.
Ranveer Singh has appeared in films such as Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and Gully Boy.
According to the report, the actor did a nude photoshoot for a magazine and was paid well for it.
