MS Dhoni to captain Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2023

MS Dhoni has been named captain of the Chennai Super Kings for the IPL 2023 season.

On Sunday, CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan confirmed the news.

Given Dhoni’s clout in the CSK camp, this comes as no surprise.

Chennai has won the title four times under Dhoni, the most recent being IPL 2021.

MS Dhoni will play in the IPL 2022, according to CSK CEO Gopamavney Thalaivan.

The all-rounder has also deleted his social media posts. Jadeja withdrew from the IPL at the end of last season, citing injury.
