Flipkart is giving a 35% discount off the original price of the Moto G31, allowing customers to purchase it for Rs. 10,999 instead of the original price of Rs. 16,999.
The Moto G31 attempts to fill the void left by its predecessor, the Moto G30, but falls short of expectations. This low-cost Moto features a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, an AMOLED display, and an IPX2 dust and water resistance rating.
Its unibody design is similar to that of the Moto G30, and while it is made of polycarbonate, it does not feel cheap. The new AMOLED display is a vast improvement over the G30’s LCD panel, but it only has a 60Hz refresh rate.
Along with the standard Moto gestures, there’s a near-stock version of Android 11. Performance is average for a budget smartphone in this price range, and there are phones with similar pricing but better hardware.
The battery life is adequate, with this phone lasting a day and a half on a single charge. The primary camera performed well in daylight, but the ultra-wide camera did not. Overall, low-light imaging was quite disappointing.
