Mercedes-AMG C63 E Performance to feature new design elements
The 2023 Mercedes-AMG C63 E Performance will feature new design elements such as LED lighting units, AMG-style alloy wheels, and a carbon-fiber lip spoiler at the rear.
A 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine will be mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system under the hood.
The plug-in hybrid powertrain has a combined maximum output of 661 hp and peak torque of 750 Nm.
On September 21, Mercedes-AMG will officially unveil the C63 E Performance model.
The V8 engine will be replaced by a plug-in hybrid version mated to a 2.0-litre unit in the 2023 C63.
When it is released, it will compete with rivals such as the BMW M3 and the Audi RS4 Avant.
The Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic is the most powerful and only AMG version of the C-Class at the moment.
The C63 model was unveiled as a prototype earlier this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
The current C43, unlike the previous model, does not have a 3.0-litre V6 engine.
